Raw Food Live Blood Cell Analysis!

Pure Jeevan Talks, video Add comments

Jim here… I have about 3 free minutes this afternoon to post here, so please bear with me as I type this post as fast as humanly possible.  Okay, here’s a fascinating video we shot last night. For anyone unfamiliar with live blood cell analysis, definitely check out this video. What they do is take a small drop of your blood (via a painless finger prick) and magnify it like 80 kajillion times. Then, they show you a real-time picture of what’s going on in your blood.

Two main points from this:

(1) We learned that VEGAN blood, in particular, is unbelievably clean and healthy. When you do this, they go over a worksheet with about 50 different things that can be going wrong in your blood. As you likely know, I’ve been living as a 100% raw vegan for a little over a year. They said my blood was super-amazing!  So, for anyone out there who wonders whethr you can be truly healthy on raw, the answer from a scientific standpoint is clearly YES!  Also, the practitioners were very interested in learning about my diet, based on the results. They were surprised to learn how much fruit I eat (a TON of it!) because there were no signs of candida. So, yes, you can indulge in fruit and not have candida. More on that point another time, as I’m pressed for time now.

(2) You can contrast a healthy raw vegan’s blood in this video with a raw vegan’s blood who has Lyme Disease.  As most of you know, Wendi has lived as a 100% raw vegan for around three years. Take a look at the environment that was created as a result of Lyme. Yep, she has some serious healing to do!

Also, I should note that, according to the practitioners, a “Standard American Diet” person’s blood is often so unhealthy, it’s sometimes difficult for them to give any kind of reading at all. In other words, there would be so much “stuff” going on in it (indicative of the many problems one can have in their blood), that any kind of meaningful analysis (besides “you’re unhealthy”) is difficult to render.

I wish I had more time today to opine further about this, but it was highly enlightening. I would recommend taking part in this to anyone who is interested in furthering your own health. You can really get up close and personal with your blood, and see for yourself how healthy (or sick) you are.

Finally, I want to thank Roger (the practitioner) and certified health counselor Janet McKee of the Pittsburgh raw meetup group for making this service available to our members at a very affordable fee — and for agreeing to let us film our session!  If I’m free tonight, I may return to add some additional thoughts and reflections about this powerful experience!

  • I saw this video last night...wow, I've wondered what this is about. Glad you posted it. I'm looking to see if there is a practitioner in the Seattle area.
  • I think you & Heidi would be fascinated by this. It's a lot of fun, actually. And there's something strangely magical about seeing your own cells -- the good and the bad -- actually "living" right there on the screen. All that activity in just the tiniest drop of blood.
  • TerriDactyl
Wow, this is one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen.

I'm sticking with raw. He said that Wendi's blood wasn't even that bad compared to those on the SAD diet.
  • That's true... He said people on SAD have the messiest, most unhealthy blood you can imagine. Wendi was pretty upset by the picture on the screen, of course (as you could tell in the video). Aside from the clumping red blood cells, much of her blood looked pretty good. He said the "serum" (which I think is the liquid that it all floats around in) was basically clean. It'll be super-interesting to return after several months and see how her blood changes. After all, she'll be on an antibiotic for a while for the Lyme. But, once that's done, she'll of course still be raw vegan, which generally produces some of the cleanest samples they see,
  • I also wanted to mention that we put that last part in just for some comic effect. I say that any child can do this, and then Wendi throws a little mini-panic before the finger-jab. LOL... (She's never liked needles.)
  • A quick note: There's a moment at around 5:33 in the video when Roger asks, "What do you do, Wendi?" and she replies, "I have Lyme disease." I think that could possibly be misconstrued among viewers, so wanted to clarify what went on there. He was asking her what she does -- meaning what she does for a living. In other words, he was attempting to determine whether she had an overly stressful job or something (which could explain part of an acidic blood profile). So, she replied "I have Lyme disease" in order to let him know that it's the Lyme that's causing her blood situation, and not a toxic or stressful work atmosphere. I just wanted to clarify that because, the way the video is, it might sound to some like he's asking, "Hey, what do you DO?" and hee answer is: "What do I DO? ... I have Lyme disease" (as though she were *identifying* herself with the Lyme or something). I think it's kind of a subtle thing to explain but, based on the traffic that we get (as well as any new traffic from speaking about Lyme), wanted to clarify that point.

Jim, that was certainly an interesting video. I was considering getting the analysis done, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Surely I'll get around to it one of these days though.

I hope to see you guys on Halloween, since I think I can get all of the pieces to fall into place. Should be fun stuff!

Unrelatedly, from previews I saw during the week, it looks like Tonya Kay is going to be on Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central tonight.

    Thanks again for this video!
  • I think you'd enjoy the experience, Joe. Big props to Janet for hooking up our group with this resource at such an affordable price. I suspect this kind of consultation costs a lot more usually.

Hope to see you on Halloween!

    -Jim

ps Unfortunately (in this case), we don't have cable. But, we do catch as many great Tonya clips on the Internet as we can. She's awesome!
  • Auntie Patricia
wow! that was interesting. thanks, jim and wendy, for letting us peek in on your time with the blood microscope. a few weeks ago i was wondering if you have heard of diatomaceous earth, wondering if it might help with lyme. it helps with parasites and arthritis, so i'd think that MAYBE it would help some here. only use food grade, of course. ??? and then, also there's the bicarbonate of soda info from marcus sircus at www.imva.info - fascinating info that might help lyme too. if so, it would be a great boon to a lot of people to know that. hoping this is over quick and you're back to happy and healthy very soon, wendy!!!
  • Thanks, Patricia! I'll look into those and mention to Wendi. I'm actually on a quest today for some specific herbs for her. Diatomaceous earth sounds familiar to me, though I can't recall why. Will definitely research it today. One of the problems we're having now is to try to balance the herbal / alternaive treatments with the antibiotic, as you can't always mix the two and really have to be careful. Wendi didn't feel like the antibiotic was working and then read the "fine print" that comes with it from the pharmacist. It said not to take with magnesium, as that'll render it ineffective. Well, she'd been drinking a magnesium tea the whole time! So, it just gets more and more complex... But, once we crack this thing, at least we'll be able to post some resources and adicive for other sufferers. Thanks for your thoughts!! -Jim
  • Will have to watch the video later....thanks for sharing!!! I am looking forward to having this done on my upcoming Hippocrates visit....will let you know what they say!

    Hugs, Tina
  • You'll love it, Tina. It's really fascinating!

Thank you so much for the video I really want to have this done. I have Lupus and antiphospholipid antibodies that they tell me can make my blood sticky/clump together, I want to find a practicioner by me, anyone know who does this on Long Island in NY?
Also my best to Wendi and check out the book"Pain Free in 6 Weeks..." by Sherry Rogers MD, Good Luck to you! I heard Wendi's voice shake as she described her situation I really feel for her and I remember what is was like getting diagnosed with Lupus for the first time...the disease process itself is so stressful ...as is the pain! Take a look at my blog..it is a holistic/nutrition based Lupus research blog.

    Thanks,
    Toni

  • Thanks, Toni. BTW, I remember reading an article about raw foods & lupus in Vibrance magazine. Here it is: http://www.livingnutrition.com/article_samples/...

    Jim,
Thanks for the article! It was very nice of you. I feel pretty well most days but some days if I eat the wrong foods I feel awful. I have many food allergies and don't know all of them so I don't eat the bad foods on purpose usually I eat a food and then realize I had an issue too late...
I am allergic intolerant to many raw foods like garlic, bananas, tomatoes, peppers, buckwheat, and have many other allergies too dairy, gluten, eggs and lots more. Good luck to you and hope Wendi feels better soon! I'll say a prayer for her!

Have you seen the site Lyme Info? http://www.lymeinfo.net/alt.html It looks like it had lots of information. Please do check if Wendi has any allergies that can cause pain too and make the pain and inflammation from the Lyme's disease worse. I never thought I had any allergies, boy was I proven wrong...I went to a chiropractor that did "Nutritional Kinesiology"(muscle testing) then I did formal IgG blood tests for allergies/intolerances too. I have a boat load of allergies! I am trying to find out why, some ideas are gut bugs, candida, heavy metal toxicity I am checking on those soon...

Those videos were amazing! Do you have any idea what it would cost to have that done without those very fortunate connections? Does insurance cover any part of it?
Hugs to you Wendi, now you have a picture in your mind of what your blood looks like, and what you want it to look like, (Jim's). Maybe you could use positive vitualization techniques as part of your overall healing plan. Hopefully those cells will be swimming around freely in no time. Love to you, Colleen
  • Thanks, Colleen! I'm actually not sure what it normally costs. You'll probably just have to Google it in your area and ask around of those you find. There'll probably be a range of prices. If I had to guess, I'd bet it's $50 - $75 for a consultation. It only takes about a minute before your blood is on the screen, and then (depending on your issues and questions), it probably takes between 10 minutes and 45 minutes more. Let us know what you find out! -Jim
  • Sseals
Has anyone talked to you about ozone therapy for Lyme Disease? We have heard that the blood transfusions and injections with ozone works on Lyme Disease.
  • Auntie Patricia
oh, sseals... that is SUCH a GOOD IDEA. and i'm not sure that the ozone has to be injected... it may be that it can be as effective when ingested. i drink ozonated water daily. i use a cheap little ozonator i bought online. the book 'the one minute cure' - do you know if it addresses lyme specifically? some tiny bugs are anaerobic so even a little oxygen does them in. :)

    this is from their website:

    Discover the remarkable, scientifically proven natural therapy that creates an environment within the body where the swine flu virus and other diseases cannot thrive -- and enables the body to cure itself of disease;

Learn why this healing method -- called "the world's greatest healing miracle of all time" by health practitioners -- may render all conventional drugs, therapies and medical treatments for the flu and other diseases obsolete; and

Find out how this safe, inexpensive and powerful healing method has been administered by an estimated 15,000 European doctors,
naturopaths and homeopaths to more than 10 million patients in the past 70 years to successfully treat the influenza virus and many other diseases, how it has helped stop the Spanish Flu of 1918 -- and how you can use it, too.

Wow, this is amazing! I saw Kevin Gianni do this on one of his shows. But I never thought about the possibility that healthcare practitioners might make it possible for raw meetup members to take advantage of this service at an affordable fee.

I've been to "spa days" at the homes of girlfriends -- manicures, mini-facials, massages, tarot card readings -- all for reduced fees. And of course, botox doctors have been doing it for years! But I had never heard of this in the natural health world. So many times I read about wonderful natural healing services that resonate with me and I research them (like colonics), but then because of cost I think "there is just no way" and file them away in my "no way" mental folder. But if I could avail myself of a therapy first at a "try me out" rate, and see that "hey this really would work for me" then I absolutely would find a way to do it. We just get so innundated with information, ads, blogs about so much that it becomes overwhelming.

This meetup with natural health practitioners is such a fantastic idea. And I hope the next one is in the Washington, D.C. area! Or better yet, Arlington, VA, where I live. One can only hope.
