What fun do you have planned for yourself today, this weekend, or sometime in the near future? If the idea of having fun feels a bit foreign to you, then we sure are glad you found our blog. We'd love to encourage you to have some fun every day, but to especially have extra fun on the weekends (or whenever you have a couple of days off in a row).
What makes the weekends so special? For most people the weekends are a time when your schedule isn't dominated by weekly work commitments. It's a time when you can (no matter how busy your life is) probably arrange your days the way you'd like. So, why not arrange some time for fun? If you can manage it, try to arrange an entire weekend of fun for yourself!
Experiencing fun times releases stress, which is important for your health. When's the last time you had some stress-releasing fun? We hope you can easily answer that question and follow with many more instances of fun you've been having within the past few days! For those of you who are counting a good laugh on the phone with a friend as fun, that does count, too! But, don't let your fun end there. Plan something fun for yourself right now. Think about something you can do today or this weekend (by yourself or with others) that would bring a smile to your face, fill your spirit with lightness and maybe even laughter. Then go and have fun! Let us know what you've been doing for fun, too! What you share may inspire others (including us here at Pure Jeevan) to have some similar fun for themselves!
So, what's Pure Jeevan doing for this Fun-Filled Friday? KDcat and Wendi are packing a few things and heading to an ashram for a weekend getaway. While there, Wendi will be setting the details for some great programs that Pure Jeevan will be offering at the ashram in the near future. But, wait! That's work, isn't it? Well, sometimes even work can be fun! It still counts if you are enjoying yourself and truly doing what you want to do at any given moment. Plus, getting away for some peaceful meditations and yoga at an ashram are ways to eliminate stress, too, which makes room for more thoroughly enjoying the fun times ahead.
KDcat plans on running around the 10+ acres at the ashram property, which is one of her favorite ways of having fun. Then she'll spend time reading a book she's into right now, "Half Moon Investigations," and also do some sketching. I think she also mentioned something about offering to prepare a meal while we are there, something she definitely counts as fun!
Jim will be staying home with our new puppy, Julia. Spending time with a puppy is certainly fun, but that's not all he'll be doing. He'll be enjoying the peacefully quiet house, playing the piano (something fun that he always makes time for in his life), and anything else he thinks up for himself.
What will you be doing? We'd love to hear from you!?
